Maggie McGowan is a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt University where she is double majoring in Human & Organizational Development and Vocal Performance. Born and raised in McKinney, Texas, she grew up in local performing arts programs which taught her the importance of the arts in our communities. After graduating, she intends on earning her MBA to help her continue to pursue her passion for arts advocacy and accessibility. On campus, Maggie is involved in mentorship programs, choir, and various community service organizations which continue to drive her passion for equitable arts experiences. Maggie is beyond excited to be a part of the Texans for the Arts team this summer and is eager to give back to the Texas arts community which has given her so much.
