Marci Dallas

Marci Dallas is adjunct faculty in the University of Houston Arts Leadership program and founder of Cultural Launch, a consulting firm focused on the impact that the arts make on communities.  She has a strong background in arts administration and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban Studies with a focus on creative placemaking and cultural districts.  Dallas holds an M.A. in  Art History and a Masters of Business Administration.  She is a graduate of Christie’s Art and Business program as well as the Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives at Rice University’s Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. She has previously held executive, administrative and curatorial roles in organizations such as The Museum of Modern Art, Holocaust Museum Houston, Fresh Arts and Arts District Houston. She is an active community volunteer, having served on committees for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, United Way, and the American Alliance of Museums.
